Are you killing your chances of getting your ex back and working against yourself in your attempts to get your ex back? Are you your own worst enemy and is it hurting your chances of getting back together with the one you love. If you are worried that your chances of getting your ex back are slim to none then you are in the right place. If you fret and worry about the fact that your ex is either seeing someone or going to start seeing someone thus ruining your chances to get them back then you might be killing your chances of getting them back. If there is a black cloud over you and you are sure that things are over yet you wish you could get your ex back then you are fighting against yourself.

Worry, fear and a general feeling of gloom and doom about your relationship isn't helping you one bit to get your ex back. Sure, it is common for people to be upset and cry and worry that they won't be able to get their ex back at the beginning of a breakup but there comes a time when, if you really want to get your ex back, that you have to change your attitude and start doing the things that are going to bring your ex back to you. One of the biggest and easiest changes that you can make is to start feeling more confident about your ability to get your ex back. An optimistic attitude and thinking positive thoughts can help enormously to bring your ex back. This should make sense to you since every goal that you might wish to achieve begins as a thought in your mind.

Right after the breakup it is perfectly normal to cry and feel depressed and upset. The rejection that you have received from someone that said that they loved you is enough to take the wind out of anyone's sails. You are lonely and you feel terrible. But there comes a time when you need to make a decision. Are these feelings, thoughts and emotions helping you at all to get your ex back? You have choices and your choice is to either allow these feelings and thoughts to remain in the front of your mind or you can get rid of them. You can replace these thoughts with ones that will actually help to build your confidence in yourself and your ability to get your ex back.

Any time you feel that black cloud of doubt coming upon you there is a little exercise that you can perform. Just take a few minutes and find a private place. Close your eyes and being to relive the happy memories that you have from time spent with your ex. Allow yourself to float back and feel exactly what it felt like to hold the one you love. Feel what you felt back when your ex told you that they loved you for the first time. Relive that first kiss and you might actually begin to smile and those bad feelings will drift away and be forgotten. Allow yourself to recall as many details as you can and make these moments so real that you can almost hear their voice and smell their scent.

In addition, you can spend some time looking to the future and dreaming of what it is going to be like to be back together with your ex. What will they say when you know that you have them back again? Will it be a quiet moment when the silence is broken by an innocent "I love you" or will it be a look in their eye that tells you everything that you need to know? Will it all happen slowly over time or will your ex come back to you quickly? Will your ex just show up at your door one night with tears in their eyes telling you that they have to talk to you? No matter what your dream is, it is important that you fill your mind with positive thoughts and with the absolute assurance that you have the ability to get your ex back and that you will get your ex back.

If you have to perform these exercises for a few minutes every hour then give yourself that luxury. Go to the bathroom at work, lock yourself in a stall for a few minutes, close your eyes and let yourself dream until the cloud of doubt passes and you are back on track again. The moments of doubt and blackness will come but with these tricks you will find that they don't come quite so often and they don't last nearly as long. As a result you will feel better about yourself and your ability to get your ex back. You will be a happier human being and people will begin to notice, including your ex. And you do know that people like being around people who are happy, upbeat and positive, right?

You might want to keep some of this stuff to yourself though. After all, people might think you are a little off your rocker if you start proclaiming that you are doing visualisations to ensure that you will get your ex back. There is nothing wrong with what you are doing and these methods are used by top athletes and motivational speakers but most people look at breakups a little bit differently than you do. While you are trying to improve yourself and work on your relationship other people would wallow in self pity and despair while they eat foods that are really bad for them as they sit in a bean bag chair eating nasty snack food and watching soap operas. But you should feel good about what you are doing to try to win back your ex. In the end it will pay off.
